Stupid penalty on kickoff put the Lions in a deep hole

At least the Lions punt with the wind to start the 2nd quarter

Re: BC vs. Calgary Game Day Thread

Lions go 2 & out to close Q1 after the defensive score. 7-3 Cgy with BC to punt to open Q2 with the wind on their backs.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

With the exception of that critical interception, Lions came out of the opening quarter in good shape

Could be a game changer.
Didn't catch all the names but the Stamps acc to Caravatta on 1040 are using a backup DL on the O-line right now. And we gift-wrap them a facemask call.

Rogers from BLM scores Cgy's 2nd major as he breaks the plane before getting stood up by Fraser who got a big hit on him.

They go for 2 again and make it on the throw to Parker, 15-3 Cgy. Pulling away.

Doesn't seem to be hurting them and yes the Stamps have gotten life from that INT TD.

Have to make something happen with the wind on our backs in this quarter.

Return team flagged again to give us poor FP.

Re: BC vs. Calgary Game Day Thread

Harris coughs it up for our 2nd turnover at our own 11.

This is starting to look like our visit to Hamilton.
