Nearly 19 min of possession but only 10 points when you lack quick strike and big play ability.

Including that final nothing drive from BC there were only nine offensive series from both teams combined in that half, a league low so far in 2015.SammyGreene wrote:Nearly 19 min of possession but only 10 points when you lack quick strike and big play ability.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Hot start but they started phoning it in even earlier than with Tor and earlier calls for the long ball where as Vic Rapp used to say - 3 things can happen and 2 of them are bad - now decide.
Lulay is looking at his primary deep REC but it's pretty clear the way the Lions run the deep ball just who is to get that ball. Is it Lulay's mechanics, ability or focus or just DEF that have seen film and know what they will do on the deep routes? A bit of both but that could have been 3 INTs as panel notes??

Horrendous job at safety there.

Leone's KO gets the 2nd half underway. Big return. And Willy connects right off the bat for a 56yd major with Darvin Adams. 13-10, Lirim H adds the convert, 14-10 Wpg.

That old cliche about "we gotta play the full 60 minutes", it's not supposed to be referring to the final 52 minutes of the game.

Undisciplined penalties beginning to rear it's ugly head

TD on S. big play came from astute observation of WPG coaching staff
There is a serious malaise in this off.. time to find the cancer and dump someone.

What a terrible start to the second half. Awful coverage on the punt and then the D was not ready. Can our D line get any pressure?
Did Washington make any adjustments or just have a nap?
