Maybe I missed something...
Seriously, on the Garrett td last week and Messam's today, what was the difference? Thought it was determined that once the ball crossed the plain, the ground couldn't cause a fumble. Wouldn't that have applied to Messam's today as well. Just wondering if I missed something.

Are you referring to the Messam fumble near the goal line after he ran 50 yards ? Replay indicate that the ball was stripped before hitting the ground.

Thanks. Must be getting old. I thought the ball crossed the plain first.

Nope actually bounced into the end-zone. It was out before it crossed the plain and definitely before Messam was down.
Tell me how long must a fan be strong? Ans. Always.

Yes besides my largest concern is that you don't actually have to catch the ball, just be guiding it over the GL in order to claim a TD on a pass. What a league, new rules to interpret almost on a weekly basis.Sir Purrcival wrote:Nope actually bounced into the end-zone. I thought the word was "plane" in the geometric sense. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plane_(geometry)Lions Fan in SK wrote:Thanks. Must be getting old. I thought the ball crossed the plain first.
But it might be plain in Saskatchewan.

Sorry. I actually questioned myself on that. Actually, I am normally pretty anal about grammar and spelling. (Maybe because I'm originally from BC ---- don't lump me in with Saskatchewanians!) LOL

See I am not concern about grammar (I know it is obvious), but Saskatchewanians is a funny plural, just saying.Lions Fan in SK wrote:Sorry. I actually questioned myself on that. Huh, I always thought the proper demonym for a resident of SK was "Saskatchistani".Rammer wrote:See I am not concern about grammar (I know it is obvious), but Saskatchewanians is a funny plural, just saying.Lions Fan in SK wrote:Sorry. Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

If Halifax ever gets a team, then we will be dealing with Haligonians.sj-roc wrote:Huh, I always thought the proper demonym for a resident of SK was "Saskatchistani".Rammer wrote:See I am not concern about grammar (I know it is obvious), but Saskatchewanians is a funny plural, just saying.Lions Fan in SK wrote:Sorry. I still consider myself a displaced British Columbian, not here by choice!
