Complacency? It is hard to be the front runner all year. Praised all year as the flagship of the league. I thought Angus Reid talked too much about all our talent.

I thought we had experience and character, but I never said we had the best talent. O Line weak. Receivers showing their age, as young guns move in. Nick Moore is our deep guy, and he is no burner, more of a glider. Experience is good, of course, but at some point youthful energy surpasses it. We have the most veteran team in the league.

Calgary came to play. We did not match their intensity.

We did not cover their speedy receivers (Bryant, McDaniel and Price). We did not stop Cornish on the ground.

Our offence had no zip. Lulay was rusty, as might be expected, and still injured some suggested. 33 of 46, 71.7%, 274 yards, but we had little or no YAC yards, unlike the Stampeders.

It may well have been better with Tate in there. Glenn had a lot to prove.

Out game planned on O and D.

Should we have suited up 6 D Linemen, instead of 5 with Solo? We didn't seem to have much energy.

Full credit to Newman, playing with knees bone on bone. Valli could have taken pain killers and played, said one report.

2 huge broken coverages. And fooled on one fake short yardage play.

Idiot Cornish should be fined for another wardrobe malfunction.

You could still see the character of our team at the end.

Onside kick? Calgary blocked our guys. Great block kept Bighill from contesting Lewis. There is a high school coach in the States that Benny should bring in for these games. He never kicks, and he wins most of his onside kicks. I could show you ... Nah ... it is on YouTube somewhere. I have posted about it before.

Whaddayagonna do? I know ... Take them all out and shoot them. Nah ... This is the CFL. Up. Down. Topsy turvy.

Well deserved Calgary, well prepared and out coached the Lions. Where was our front 7? All season long they play stellar but stink the joint out. Where was Mitchell? Keron? All neutralized by their front 5, actually man handled on all run plays. Cornish made me into a believer today.

Final score flatters the Lions.

Cgy was MUCH the better team today. Full marks to them. When it gets right down to it, a 12-win team beat a 13-win team so it's not exactly a shocker. I didn't expect them to be that superior, though.

who do we cut for next year, I wouldn't come back with both Simon and Bruce, just one, we need to keep the young receivers

Jackson and Taylor should have been playing tonight. Very disappointing.

The score flattered us.
Enough is enough.

Lions were outplayed and out-coached today. 8 running plays by the Lions RB's for 33 yds. Empty backfield for Lulay who was under constant pressure, Harris invisible as a pass blocker. 1 scramble for Lulay for 2 yds. Offence never established the run or pass game, instead attacked the periphery or used trick plays. The Stamps went for the jugular when they had their opportunities while the Lions seemed content to play if safe and wait for something to happen. The Lions weak links on defence were exposed by Dickenson today who called a great game.

No pressure on Glenn all game. He just sat back and picked them apart. Muamba looked lost out there.

Hugely disappointed. This team had more talent than last year.

The offense was pathetic. Can't stand 3 yard passes on 2nd and long. Chap had absolutely no answers today.

Worst possible grey cup match up IMO.

A secondary that failed to execute coverages properly when required.

An offense that failed to adjust to what was being given. Trying to run the same offensive play to start a series four times, when it failed ever time.

A defensive game plan that spent too many plays rushing three. Nothing good comes from rushing three.

Receivers that spent the first three quarters setting up 2nd down routes short of the sticks.

Lack of discipline against the run.

What can you do?
