Yeesh.

The CFL has announced that Andre Proulx will be the head referee for Sunday's game. According to the league bio, Proulx "has called 249 CFL games". And none of them competently, I might add. IMO, Proulx is far and away the worst referee in the league.

What a Joke. That nullifies our biggest advantage in the game (Our D line vs. their O-Line.) You can have your jersey ripped off and Proulx doesn't call holding.

Edmonton did that last week to us anyway and we still won....... No big deal. What really matters is that there are good line judges and other refs on the officiating team that are competent.

I think that Proulx is the best in the league. Be thankful that you didn't get Winnipeg's 13thman, Glen Johnson.

Proulx is neutral and is one of the league's best referees, if not the best. It's a great honour to be selected for the Grey Cup, and shows that the league has great confidence in him. Congratulations.

Well, have to say that this was a well called game, did not think they were flag happy and overall did a fine job.
Know the smallest things and the biggest things, the shallowest things and the deepest things. As if it were a straight road mapped out on the ground ... These things cannot be explained in detail. From one thing, know ten thousand things. When you attain the Way of strategy there will not be one thing you cannot see. You must study hard.

Agreed. Did not notice the refs. Always a good thing.

I'd give them a pretty solid B. Missed a couple of blocks to the back on Winnipeg's first significant kick return, and Carr was blatantly interfering on the late TD. Elimimian probably deserved a flag for throwing a punch as well.

But I've seen much much worse in this league.

I agree , but at least the non-calls went both ways . Was expecting to see a few flags that did not get thrown .

The only poor call was the non-catch of Bruce's that we overturned. I noticed people booing Proulx on the TSN broadcast.
