I'm not sorry one bit. In fact, the way it played out - that for a brief moment Saskatchewan thought they had it won....only to have it torn away...just to make it that much more deliciously agonizing - makes the loss that much better as far as I'm concerned. Great ending IMO. :yahoo:

Exciting game, too bad the Riders had to lose like that but I am glad for the Als. There's no guarantee that the Riders will be back of course (see Winnipeg unfinished business), but the CFL will be fun next year regardless.

The background shows how many people showed up at Mosaic.

At least the Saskatchewan Premier was there.

Players arrived and left with their heads hanging low...felt somewhat sorry for them...

Mayor Pat Fiacco was there as well...

A team either rallies from a game ending like this or folds the tent, I expect the Riders to be the force in the West now in 2010. That said, one or two plays can make a difference in getting to the GC, as it is a long journey.
Entertainment value = an all time low

I'm not buying that. So many people are now saying they're up for repeating the feat. I doubt it. Calgary will get back on track as their entire season was off kilter and edmonton is on the rise again too. If the Lions somehow make the changes in the offseason and stop the spiral we'll be better too especially with Printers out of traning camp. Even with our troubles this year the riders were not too much trouble for the Lions.

I"m glad that Montreal now has that out of it's system.. they should be a bit easier next year.
