It's quite remarkable that they have never really had a "rebuilding" year in their franchise history.
And I'm saying that wouldn't be the case if they had relocated Memphis or Shreveport (or been a pure expansion team in Montreal with no fan support), rather than Baltimore.

Kind of like how the Phoenix Coyotes haven't been the Colorado Avalanche. Sports teams evolve organically, and beginnings make a huuuuuuuge difference.

This will be his last telecast this year. I doubt we would be hearing him next week at the Grey Cup
Maybe so, but we'll still have to listen to that ignorant a-hole next year.

Trestmen is really being an a-hole now, now I AM going to cheer for whichever western team makes it next week. I can't stand a guy that pulls that *poop*.

Is a challenge really necessary at this point ? I hope someone ask Trestman about this after the game.

Why the hell is Trestman challenging this? He's up 49-18 and he wants the refs to rule it a fumble return for a touchdown? What a *frig* jerk. Talk about adding insult to injury.

I hope we send someone out to injure Calvillo after that *poop* challenge. They're up by 31...what's with that challenge.

Go Riders or Stamps!

My mistake, that's the EF record. Playoff record is actually 1996 WSF 68-7 Edm over Wpg.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

As classless as that challenge was, it would be just as classless to wish injury upon their best player.

In all fairness to Trestman, he would be the ultimate hypocrite if he doesn't coach to the final whistle when he is telling his players to play to the final whistle.

:whs: We've run the Rider fans down here for that sort of crap. And the Hamilton fans just last week who were cheering our injuries.
