The Renegades would probably still be around if they were the Baltimore Stallions.

We've been running the same plays the past several seasons.PigSkin_53 wrote:What makes you think they've got our playbook?JohnHenry wrote:We should give the Als credit, they are superior in every facet of the game. Teams that are already good or have a positive reputation always have it a lot easier in terms of attracting fans ( = money), top players, coaching talent, etc.The_Pauser wrote:That was 14 years ago. Give them credit for being able to sustain their success...
It will never cease to be a factor for the Alouettes until they actually have to go through expansion.

It's almost a unanimous decision now to fire Chapdelaine and Benevides.The_Pauser wrote:Because Chap doesn't deem it necessaryJohnHenry wrote:What a rotten offence we have? Why does Printers have no release valve or quick hitter with all the pass pressure he's under?

Any wagers on how many points the Al's can score in the final quarter?

Rudy is on the History Channel right now.

Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Lions have 9 yards rushing after 3 quarters. Great playcalling Chap.

Thanks for making it worse.PigSkin_53 wrote:Any wagers on how many points the Al's can score in the final quarter?
There are so many holes exposed today, finding much money to shore up anything significantly will be hard to find. The secondary is weak, the Linebacking is weak, the D line needs at least on more player to make it a force and of course we need to find some O line players. The question is how much money and what are the priorities?The_Pauser wrote:I'm glad people here think we don't need to put more money into bringing in a new offensive line...

All in favour of firing Chapdelaine and Benevides?
