The Utility Man is back!
So why did we sign him? Kicking? Receiving? Special Team? Could be anything lol

Re: Bret Anderson Returns
That is an interesting development. I wonder what precipitated that decision? Does this have something to do with Paul McCallum? How does that reflect upon the potential signing of Jamall Lee? Who was released or placed on the IL to accommodate this signing?
Anderson is a very classy individual, who's multi purpose abilities are great for a stretch run. My final question on this matter is, do you think that this was a gentleman's agreement between himself and Wally to return for the stretch run?

Re: Bret Anderson Returns
Yikes ... hope this has nothing to do with Paris Jackson's MRI results.
Re: Bret Anderson Returns
According to LU, he's expected to replace Paris Jackson for Friday's game. For now. the roster at bclions.com shows 47 players, including Anderson, with no changes to the injured list or developmental roster. Here's LU's take on it:Rammer wrote:Who was released or placed on the IL to accommodate this signing?

If you could clone Bret, you could make a complete Football team, including medical personal :pWestCoastJoe wrote:Super Sub returns. Ha ha. Too per-fect.![]()

No offence intended; but you mean to tell me that we have a slot go down and we have NO - ONE on the PR that can replace him? !!!!!!
We have to get someone to play who has played or practiced all year?? !!!!
Is this a ratio thing? If so, then wtf...we have no NI receivers that can play???/

Re: Bret Anderson Returns
This will just be for depth in case. Also since his contract is guaranteed it may also be as a backup kicker with a trade in the works for one of our existing two.Lion Guy wrote:No offence intended; but you mean to tell me that we have a slot go down and we have NO - ONE on the PR that can replace him? !!!!!!

From what i have heard Ian Smart is out and Terrence Scott is being activated Bret must just be a depth move as well as special teams ,maybe taking Simmons spot

it's does give the Lions the option of BA handling kickoffs and PM punting and kicking field goals.

Well that settles the question of whether they could or would active both Whyte and McCallum- I think.Belize City Lion wrote:it's does give the Lions the option of BA handling kickoffs and PM punting and kicking field goals.
But, activating Paul and Sean makes more sense unless the Paris Jackson is not looking good and they have no depth on the PR. I sure think Lyall Green could play.
