Or.....

The team was excellent in edmonton and horrendous at home.

It was a new record for me.. I left at the end of the third... and felt no shame at all.

I was there showering you with it as you departed, I and a few others not so much as we stayed until the end. In fact I met up with a friend who goes to maybe three games a year, he and his boy and his friends also stayed until the end. :roar:

Long time reader first time post

Rob Murphy is considered one of the premiere tackles in this league, He struggled big time with this calgary front. I think considering Jimenez and Heerspink did well. I think Jimenez played fairly consistent, Heerspink in only his second week starting in this league and this offense actually played really well with the exception of maybe 3 plays that he would probably do differently now I seen him with at least three flatbacks during the game one against #34 that was amazing in the first quarter If i remeber right. Inside I think we could do more to sustain the depth of the pocket so the QB can step up rather that having to scramble latterly into the opposite side of the pocket.

Offensively we need to do more to move the pocket to keep talented fronts from running free. I also don't remember us utilizing draws in our run game this week. the one screen we attempted was killed because we couldn't get the running back open and we had to hold the ball way to long. These are just a couple of things we need to do better I feel to be more balanced. We also didn't utilize any 3 step drop backs for shorter routes which we did well against edmonton which eventually opened up the long ball for Jarious. Let Geroy and Paris make a create a few yards after the catch which we all know they can do.

Thanks for some clarification as well. Interesting about the screens, a sore spot with many on this board in that we don't use enough. On the running play by Mallett that got called back on an Angus Reid holding call, was that a legit hold? Just seemed to me to be one of many calls against us, but that one could have got the O untracked.

Appeared to be legit. He was holding Mike Labinjo
