Jeez we lose another one. That's gonna be quite a hole to fill. No Joe Smith this time around.
Best of luck to Logan

What the hell is going on here?
Talk about a sinking ship.
It's more imperative than ever now that the Lions ink Casey Printers.

Okay, can we rip Wally now for signing him to a 1&1 instead of the usual 2&1?

No way he saw this one coming. There goes one of their 2009 poster boys.
Wally, DO NOT waste your time signing imports to 1&1 deals.
Re: CKNW - Logan signs with Steelers
Do you see what I mean now?
This is a sinking ship and Wally is still the Captain.
Yeah sure, run Casey Printers out of town and look what we've got now

Just wait till Buck Pierce signs an NFL contract...
then the ship will really go down fast...

Moreso in my mind, he was going to be able to salvage the offensive side of the ball, regardless of all the other moves IMO. IIRC Wally didn't sign Logan's contract, something that the Lions may have been tied into doing with the CFLPA's concerns on teams not offering the 1 + 1 contract as is in the CFLPA contract.SammyGreene wrote:![]()

Re: CKNW - Logan signs with Steelers
Without a doubt having Logan for all 18 games was going to make a significant difference to the offence and guarantee they were already working the playbook around him, just like they did last season. Now, is a mult-purpose scatback their first choice for recruiting or do they look for another punisher runner like Joe Smith?Rammer wrote:Moreso in my mind, he was going to be able to salvage the offensive side of the ball, regardless of all the other moves IMO. I don't know where the 1&1 deals currently stand with the CFLPA but it's going to be killer for this league if imports like Kelly Campbell and Logan can bolt after just one year.
And I thought my son wanting a Logan jersey (to replace his Clermont) was a pretty safe bet.

If we lose Murphy/Pierce/Jimènez, a ton, Logan's contract will be replaced with his replacement, so nothing with his departure as it was his first contract.
