They also didn't get any game balls due to that beer throwing incident, notice the team make sure that Phillips wasn't going to launch the ball into the stands....that was strong team management at work.Zarquon wrote:Congrats to the Riders fans. Congrats Lions your D played very well. I wish the RIders would have played better but there is no doubt that B.C. was the better team on the field this game. Good luck against the Stamps I would rather see BC go to the GC then the Stamps POUND BURRIS INTO THE GROUND!

Re: Congrats to the Lions
With exception of Murphey and Bates the Lions bench was very well behaved. It was the same thing when the Stamps came to play the week after the Beer game. Behind close doors ALL teams were talked to.Rammer wrote:They also didn't get any game balls due to that beer throwing incident, notice the team make sure that Phillips wasn't going to launch the ball into the stands....that was strong team management at work.Zarquon wrote:Congrats to the Riders fans. I sure was. It was a great all out effort by the D, pretty much everyone stepped up. But my satisfaction still comes from knocking the riders out. I have so much hate for the greenies.Ballistic Bob wrote:Bob would of been proud. BB

If the Riders are patient they won't have to trade for Printers, if that's who they want. I think CP will get released by Hamilton if nobody else seems interested in a trade.Vern Halen wrote: Watch for the Riders to either make a major trade over the winter to bring in an actual "starting" QB (Printers?)

I am very impressed with the Rider fans today. You are a great bunch and good sports. It was a great game (from my perspective) and I can only hope that I would be as gracious as all of you had the end result been in your favour. Good on ya!

I was thinking that very thing. Everything I've seen and read so far has been phenomenal!

This is an especially nice gesture by a Rider fan to offer up.

What do you mean "exception of"? I think it be proper etiquette to wave goodbye to those you are leaving behind.rider13 wrote:

Well, you have to take the good with the bad. 2007 was the good. Yesterday, the Riders were really bad. The Lions were the reason for that. So, to Phil and the rest of you lionbackers, congrats.

Thanks Troy, I certainly hope the Lions make the most of it as your Riders did last season. Quite being such a good Rider fan will you, you guys have reps to maintain.
