Yes, on both sides this year.Tighthead wrote:Can you get seasons in the upper deck? I really prefer the sightlines there.SammyGreene wrote:Ackles did say on the TEAM Monday that the Lions will surpass last year' season ticket total (around 21,000).
Interesting given 2007 was coming off a Grey Cup win and their ’08 season ticket drive is still a few weeks away. Perhaps opening up the other side of the upper deck has prompted some more interest or opened up some good sideline seats in the lower bowl that are easy to sell.
season ticket count?

Just look how the Lions are pushing this New Roof on their website! They have the roof as their top item!
This Roof is a hot sell! The Marketing Dept. is going to have a field day pushing this Roof!
I see 50,000 plus for the first football game under the Retractable.
It's gonna be an EVENT!

State of the Franchise statement by Mr. Ackles has pegged the Lions to potentially hit the 25K mark in ST's, a healthy amount. With that many ST's holders, seats are going to be more difficult to grab come playoff time, especially if more exercise their full amount of tickets that they can purchase for the event.firstdown45 wrote:with the roof news, they're now approaching 30,000
Entertainment value = an all time low

Two years ago i got single game tickets vs Sask. in the front row, upper deck, 54yd. line. This year for Sept 12, vs Sask. with an early choice before single games went on sale to the public, I got upper deck row LL on the 40yd. line. Damn ST sales. jk.
Actually, the 40 yard line for single game tickets is great and BC Place has great sight lines from anywhere. At $74 per ticket it is great value especially when compared to the Toronto (Dollar) Bills at $295 and you must buy for more than one game.

I had one seat in high rent, but opted to trade in for 2 seats in a less coveted section to be closer to friends.
