Guess this means the TigerCats start over from scratch...again.The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have fired general manager Marcel Desjardins.
A league source requesting anonymity confirmed the move late Sunday night and said the Ticats will make the announcement official Monday.
Desjardins completed his first full season as Ticats general manager Saturday with the club's 21-19 victory over the Edmonton Eskimos. Despite the win, Hamilton finished the 2007 campaign last in the East Division with a CFL-worst 3-15 record, which was worse than last year's 4-14 mark.
Desjardins was named Ticats general manager Aug. 29, 2006.
Prior to joining the Ticats, Desjardins, a native of Burlington, Ont., spent five seasons as the assistant general manager of the Montreal Alouettes.
