Just checking ticket sales for the playoff game seems to be going excellent, heard today on NW that bob ackles(who was on for 20min) wants to get 55,000 + for this years WF no matter what team it is, he said they would like to hit the 35-40k mark a week befor the game, it looks like already that the lions are trying to promote this game , way to go.

For 55,000 we will need the RoughRiders as opponents.

I think we'll hit 55,000 regardless of who we play. That is as long as we win our last game. Lions are becomming more and more popular. People now see the winning product. With the large crowd we had at the edmonton game and another large crowd expected for the stamps, I don't think there will be too much trouble selling playoff tickets.

congrats on first you earned it. Expect a dogfight if the Riders make the WF though. This ain't Danny Barrett's Riders anymore with all the firsts they have achieved this year. Going to be a hell of a game

But I think that you can tell by our poll on which team the Lions fans want to face, it is the Riders for the WDF, that speaks volumes as to how big the game will be.

Karma happens to he who preempts the natural order of grace by his actions which offend those who have lessons to teach, to those who have of need of them.

The Lions have offended no deity to my knowledge!

The Saskatchewan Rough Riders have been dogging our shadows since the first whistle this season, and their true glory rests in beating us out of our one shot at destiny, and robbing us of our chance to rival what only a few have been able to achieve.

To this end I have real and bitter enmity to them who would be cast as a thief!

Knowing this a possible outcome keeps us forewarned and forearmed...

Being neither a Buddhist, nor Hinduism I have concerns as to whether such reality over the normal affairs of men is valid or not, but still I hear your words of admonition and concur that I do not wish to tempt the fates with dishonor of our imminent rival.

Though I shall not exalt he who stands between us and our destiny though it may be given to them to steal it from us.

If I were you I would steer clear of any more Shakespear in the Park shows.......please.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and predict a Calgary upset in Sask on Nov 11.

Either way, the Leos will beat whomever emerges from the battle on the Prairies.
Go Lions!

How many people can BC Place hold exactly? How many seats of those would they open up?

All will be opened up if Ackles wants 55K or more for the game, as the entire stadium holds 60K and some seats will be used for a band or such as the half-time show.

chimpy120 will be quite disappointed with this news as 60,000 is no longer an attainable goal unless they start putting seats on the roof.

55K would be awesome. Yee Haw :rockin:

Get the sound machine going. Bring your ear plugs. Get the wave rolling in the Place where stadium waves started. Drown out the opposing QBs signals. Let the good times roll again. :rockin:

Those opposing teams just hate playing in the Dome ... Heh Heh Heh

The House of Pain ... for the ears.
