Gutsy call (pump route to draw the DBs in) on 3rd down. Great poise by Jarious to put the ball exactly where it needed to be and MASSIVE protection by the O-line on the final drive.

Man, if my neighbors weren't aware that I'm a Lions fans before, they'll know it now. I think I need a new roof from raising it!

And where would the Lions be this year without Joe Smith? The guy is a stud!

Kent Austin now knows how Danny Maccioca felt when his team gave up the winning touchdown with 3rd and long with less than a minute to go in the game.

This thread is now 20 pages! Wild! I think the city's pumped tonight.

Can a mod check if any Lionbackers thread has ever accured 20 pages like this one? Probably will go to 30 by tommorow.

I think this is the longest thread ever! A record! Mark down the date and time! September 22, 2007!

and as for that Television that was thrown out that highrise window and the police were called, it was a 28 inch picture tube and wrapped in a green Riders jersey

What an unbelievable game. I think I just screamed the loudest obscenity known to mankind after Geroy caught that TD. Oh yeah, and somebody should ask Fred Perry how that guarantee is doing.

The Lions Offense got a taste of playing in Noise tonight.

Those 3 Procedure penalties we took when the Riders crowd was roaring so Loud... just shows you the power of the 13th Man, when and IF the 13th Man wants to be loud

now the Lions can more appreciate how effective a dome full of Noise can be in throwing off the other team; there's nothing like experiencing it coming the other way

tonight the Riders Noise could've cost US a game

By the way, IF the Lions make it to the big dance in Toronto: when was the last time the Lions played a Grey Cup in an opposing dome? I guess 1985 in Montreal, but that pro Hamilton crowd didn't seem too vocal. Toronto might be different if its Montreal playing.

I always tape footage of the road games and if they win at the Dome, highlights of home games. Hours of Lions stuff. I love watching the whole long thing hours later, after a good victory.

Olympic Stadium was open to the air in 1985, 120db. The roof was added much later.

So not really a domed stadium at that time.
