As already noted.... The Defence gets the Lions a three point lead in the standings. Lions win today by 20!

This will be key SG. If Jamall can't go today, that puts serious pressure on our special teams cover to contain Holmes (but I've been extremely happy with the job of Ricky Foley). I don't know if Jay will play the strong side 'backer position, but he certainly knows it better than any replacement.

I read that Jamall's roster spot will be taken by either DB Jerome Dennis who can also play LB or newcomer LB Tim Goodwell.

I hope we see a lot of Bret Anderson today. I always wanted this guy to play more. Here's his purrfect opportunity. This guy is Mr Reliable.

What a *frig* joke!!

RTP .. Williams was thrown into Joseph!!

Obviously Joseph and the Riders are wearing tutus.

What a joke of a penalty.
Now that I don't live in Quesnel do I need to change my handle??

No passion no fire onthis defence on this first drive.

It's gonna be a long game as so far the defence can't be found.

Instead of Lockdown U how about "Jeckel and Hyde" for this defence. :x

Just a brutal start... thanks D for taking some pressure off Jarious. :bang:

not a very good opening series for our defense. A couple of bad penalties and a Saskatchewan major. Sounded way too easy for the Riders.

Out of sync on both sides of the ball. Bad penalties and what is with the pass interference on Clermont?? JJ looks tentative throwing the ball. We better get our ...together or this is going to be a LONG day.

Defence sucks + Jarious off to his typical slow start = blowout loss.

Thanks Lions... was looking forward to this all week. :bang:

Defensive front 4 is getting owned again.

They showed the Riders endzone view on the replay -- it was PI by #31.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.
