Both Winnipeg and Saskatchewan had poked around on him as well. Being back in Calgary may be the best for him, but it is also where he came face to face with his demons as he was making his way to Winnipeg last year. Good luck DO'M.

At least he will only be doing the punting which he is really good at.

They say that kickers are flakes. Certainly O'Mahony lives up to that and more.

Wow, ............ I never imagined anyone giving him another chance. Stick to punting Duncan, and all the best.

Well, I think his punting will be forever overshadowed by his terrible performance in the 2004 Grey Cup.

O'Mahony is only there to push Burke Dales in training camp. I don't know how much chance he has of winning the job outright, since Dales seems to have more distance on his punts.

This goes beyond "flakiness". Duncan clearly some issues surrounding anxiety attacks and mental illness - what he did last year on the way to Winnipeg's camp (going AWOL for a few days in Calgary) was not normal, and a definite cry for help. When they were looking for him, his family acknowledged as much. There is still a tremendous stigma surrounding mental illness in our society, and it is a shame as it often prevents people from getting the help they need. I hope Duncan has found the help and support he needs, and that he can get his career back on track.

Let's hope he doesn't go missing again just like he did last year when he failed to report to the Blue Bombers training camp.

After he said, we the fans "willed" him to miss that field goal in the Sask. game, no.
Especially when we were all pulling for him to get better.

Well, at least he'll be in the right city this time.
