i always wondered what the animals were thinking when their owners put clothing on them, but i am sure we could not post the responses here!???
Thank you for everything you did for OUR Lions Mr.Ackles, we will never forget you...RIP
Our cat was not at all happy about this contest.
It took two days of chasing her around the room as she hissed and growled at me.
My husband kept telling me to leave the poor cat alone.
I had to wait until she went to sleep to get a half decent picture.
3 of the pictures are on the Lions website.
Pretty easy to tell which pet is mine

I guess this is your cat, Shelion. Very cute! By posting the three pictures on their web page, the organizers must have liked how you dressed your cat. Good luck at winning the contest!Shelion wrote:Our cat was not at all happy about this contest.

Sheila, your cat pix are too cute! I have come to the conclusion that cats don't like wearing clothes, and dogs have no shame! We used to dress our cocker spaniel up when I was little, and he'd run around, almost proud that he looked like a dork. I find that any time cats get dressed up, they either look like they'd rather be anywhere else but there, or like as soon as you get the clothes off them, you'll be losing a body part! I was going to dress the cats up, but I like my fingers where they are!

My wife and I tried to dress up one of our pets, a rat, for hallowe'en once. We put a cape on him so he could be 'SuperRat'. It took him all of a half-second to pull the cape off and piddle on it to let us know what he thought of the whole deal. He then went and stomped off into a corner in his cage and wouldn't acknowledge our existence for at least half and hour. That year his costume was 'The Deceptively Cute and Friendly Attack Rat'

Oh my God! Totally the laugh of the day! As someone who has been chastised by a pet (when I laughed at my cat for missing his jump), I can totally visualize your incident. Too funny!

The winner of this contest has just been announced:
http://www.bclions.com/index.php?module=page&id=3129
This was the winning entry, sent in by Jessica Donegan of her two dogs:
They gave honourable mention to these two runner-ups:
It seems like they still preferred dogs to cats, fish, and snowmen. Sorry to see your entry didn't win, Shelion.

You'd think being a Lions contest a cat would have won, oh well, I still love her.bbgirl wrote:The 1st prize winners are adorable!!
Shiela, your cat should have won. So cute.
Congrats to the winners
Maybe next they will have a dress your kid contest
