Brendan Ayanbedejo made the Pro Bowl as a special teamer. He has really carved out a niche for himself in the NFL.

Not if you asked his agent  He'll tell you it's a conspiracy.

He has but you'd think he want to be a starting defensive player. That's like being happy to be a 3rd or 4th-line PK center in the NHL rather than a 1st-line center in the Russian Super League.

Better to be good at something and recognized for it than not be involved with a sport he must love. Think about his pro football career before the NFL, dropped by the Bombers (who weren't very good at the time), then picked up as a ST player for the Lions. He now has an NFL pension sitting in his back pocket for his dedication to being one of the best at what the NFL has allowed him to play. Remember it is all about making the best of your opportunities.
