Robbie, what would the point (and meaning) of a Championship Ring be if leo the lion got one? I mean hired help at the dome you think might get a ring? Do you know how big and meanlingless that cup would have to be if everyone at the office got an engraving? Probably about the size of a friggin' Freightliner.
Well, I'm just trying to see where does a team draw the line on who gets a ring and who doesn't with respect to the non-players. The support staff, while perhaps not as important as the coaches, should certainly not be forgotten.
I received a response from communications director Jamie Cartmell this morning. He wasn't able to provide a definitive answer since it hasn't bee communicated to him either and he is new on the team.
He said: "I cannot speak for the Lions organization regarding the policy on
championship rings for staff members, as it has never been communicated
to me directly. In my experience, which includes four seasons with the Edmonton Eskimos ('02-'05) all staff members received a scaled-down version of the player ring."

Bobby Singh along with two other players yet to be named, will work with Buono and Ackles on the design of the Grey Cup ring.
Apparently, Bobby Singh holds the unique distinction of being the only player who has won a championship in the CFL, NFL, and XFL.

Here are three YouTube videos of the celebration. The first video contains several individual speeches, the second video contains several individual player interviews, and the third video appears to be made by an amateur and it contains several closeups of the Felions and the entrance of the Grey Cup.
