I actually don't have too much to say about this one as I'm not too sure how this board handles profanity, but I worked with this kid's brothers last summer (both of whom are huge Lions fans) and while I'm not entirely surprised that something like this could happen, I still find it appauling!

Hey Dale, David here.
That is my little brother Patrick that got his camera stolen in that article.
It was a real shame and I was very sad and shocked to hear someone could do that right in front of him and those special needs kids. Heartless to say the least.
I felt so sorry for my little bro but as he often does, he got over it fairly quick. He still misses the camera but it's mostly water under the bridge to him.
He's still all smiles!!!

It sure doesn't speak well of our sense of community that anyone would do that regardless of the person they did it too. Taking stuff from these guys is even worse. Hopefully the thief will do the right thing and find a way to get it back. Even low-life thieves can't be that low, can they?
