I vote for veteran player re- signing before Christmas. Think coaches announcement will come after Christmas.

I think you mean vet player re-sign not resign (quit).

I said both. I'm getting worried about the makeup of Campbell's staff since the Lions were bypassed in a wave of coaching movement last week but I hope something falls into place soon. A new offensive coordinator would be a nice Christmas present.

The signing of American veterans may depend on how much money is available under the 2019 cap. Either Shawn Lemon or a couple of DBs would be a good start.

Maybe a bit off topic but I'm hoping for Blitz to return with his "the night before Christmas".

Now that's one "returning Vet" that I would love to see back in the fold.

Joe too!!

Well turns out Option 2 ended up reality with the signing of Shaq Johnson:

The BC Lions announced Thursday the team has re-signed national wide receiver Shaq Johnson to 1 year contract.

Campbell said no coaching announcements will come till January.

I am glad to hear that Shaq Johnson has re-signed as he is a legitimate speedster. With a better OC calling plays (anyone but JJ), Shaq could have a very good season in 2020.

Adam Konar just re-signed for 1 year. If he is going to be a backup linebacker I don't like this signing if he is due to make $150,000 or more. That is too much for a back up and I barely noticed him last year and I watched most of the games.

Looks like Mark Nelson is our new Special Teams coach.
