I don't know what they charge for preseason at Lambeau. Whatever it is they do benefit from the fact it is impossible to get tickets to regular season games without paying a hefty premium meaning many non-ST fans will gobble up the preseason games as being their only decent chance of seeing them live. They may stand a reasonable chance of stumbling across a freebie or deal from a ST holder they know who has little interest in preseason games. Looking at Ticketmaster for their 2 preseason games the few tickets available are all resale seats. Many are priced quite reasonably even at resale. Top price is $150 for a ducat on the 30 yard line 27 rows up. Based on that it's hard to see US based Packer fans outside of a relatively short driving radius of Winnipeg being willing to shell out the ask at IGF.

A week late of his self-imposed June 30th deadline, Leblanc announces a revised plan for the Schooners to start play in Moncton in 2021 (not 2020), along with slashing ticket prices for Touchdown Atlantic. He also says the process of getting HRM approval continues.

Another stage in the bid to get a stadium built. A stripped down 12,000 permanent seats, expandable to 24,000 for CFL.
It just might get approved (and won't be a white elephant if the Schooners end up failing). The only concern I have is how durable/comfortable the non-permanent seating will be. Has the technology progressed since 2010 Tempire (or we are talking about a different thing altogether?)

Looks like what could be the final "drop dead" date for stadium approval in HRM will be early December.

There is going to have to be a lot of back room persuasion for this to pass. Having ratepayers come to the table is not a popular issue and unfortunately it is not the NHL but the CFL.

Rather than killing the project, HRM council instead kept the Schooners hopes alive. They did lay down some less favorable conditions than the ownership group had hoped for (as well as requiring them to look for a site other than Shannon Park).

A 3 day festival including Riderville, Rider fans will fill the stadium, and it's the first time since 2005 that a game will be played in Halifax, rather than Moncton. Hopefully the Schooners' proposal will still be alive by then.

The current name of the local municipal entity. Before the wider amalgamation, it used to be just Halifax-Dartmouth.
HRM ultimately decides if the CFL gets a franchise there or not. A few months ago the bid was looking all but dead, but surprisingly is still going.

Among Hodge's list of so-called candidates one quarter on them are currently with the Lions. Interesting speculation, but that's all I suppose it is.
