I don't agree with the above that Bombers were trying to rattle Lulay as it doesn't take much these day to get a RTP penalty. So if you are going to take a RTP penalty to rattle a QB then you might as well really unload on the passer. The Bomber RTP penalties were not very violent.

Right. I would have been more worried if the Bombers were aiming low for the knees. It didn't look like they were targeting him. Of course, most of TL14'S injuries have been of the bad luck non-contact kind.

Huge play by Lulay, Master of the Improv. Figueroa playing while injured, eventually gets beat here, but Lulay rolls left and hits Burnham.

Jump ball might be a 50% chance, one would think. With Burnham on the receiving end, the odds are much higher for the offence.

We played hard. We finally got things going our way. Very happy for Lulay.

Lulay himself wasn’t even 100 per cent of his status, saying “I’m trying to close that last five per cent gap to be fully game ready.”

There was one other quote from that post-game interview with Farhan that stuck out for me, wrote Mattthew Cauz:
