Q3 wraps with Ott driving into FG range. 16-13 BC.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

Not seeing a huge difference between this year and last. Not especially exciting on offense, conservative D, undisciplined play, penalties.....

As Black noted the players credit him for structure, planning and discipline. But he is also a players' coach.
And that is important to know the coach has a players interests at heart.

MB was too excitable to be a HC. More of a cheerleader. Wrong level for that kind of coaching.

OTT is a very, very improved team. Burris looks better as he has playmakers this season.

Ellingson pulls in the major on the first play of Q4 after Ryan Phillips almost picks it off. 19-16 Ott with the convert to come. Phillips injured on the play.

Lions killing themselves, and me, with all these missed opportunities. Unbelievable miss by Phillips and now he looks injured.

Convert makes it 20-16 Ott, same score they won with last week.

Ott pooch kicks the KO to Jabar Westerman who gives BC good FP at BC47.

Like to see Lulay sliding feet first.

This is a tough, head-knocking game.

Shame on that missed Phillips interception. Huge play for Ottawa.

BC punting. Bad break as Leone's kick goes OOB at Ott21 — for an illegal punt penalty.
