It looks like I'm the only one who voted for Church's. With 17 locations in BC, there are probably more of those franchises than KFC. And unlike several KFC's, I think most of not all the Church's are standalone locations instead of units at a shopping centre food court.

Maybe Lionbackers have become more health conscious after watching the movie "Super Size Me".

Ricky Foley seems to be doing okay. Although I don't think any of the Lions' 2006 draft picks will be up for rookie of the year honours.

So far, Harvey's seems to be the favourite, despite the fact that as BC49 mentioned, their locations are not very convenient as they are all located inside a Home Depot. I remember there used to be a Harvey's near Granville St in downtown. I've been to Fatburger in Washington State, but not in BC. A...

Once the CFL season is over, I may catch a Hawks game down in Seattle. I'm really emberrassed to admit as a born/raised Vancouverite, I've never been to check out the Emerald City. In an earlier thread, there was discussion about how all Seahawks home games already been sold out. So good luck getti...

The Whitecaps men ended off their 2006 regular season the same way they started it - with a win. They beat the Atlanta Silverbacks 1-0 in the regular season finale on fan appreciation night at Swangard Stadium. Were any of you there? http://www.whitecapsfc.com/news/?id=4375 The Whitecaps now head in...

Just a word of warning Robbie... I'm not sure if a single thread is going to be sufficient. Nor is it mandatory. Perhaps....we'll see. Since the Super Bowl, there has been minimal discussion on the Seahawks. In that NFL Pre-Season thread that I created, there was minimal discussion too. And nobody ...

Official 2006 Seattle Seahawks Thread

Since this site supported the Seattle Seahawks whole-heartedly earlier this year when they made it all the way to the Super Bowl, I'm assuming there will be a lot of discussion on them again this year. So let this serve as the official Seattle Seahawks thread. It looks like most of you found the soc...

The Whitecaps men finally managed to beat their biggest rivals, the Seattle Sounders, last night by a score of 3-2. The Sounders are in danger of missing the playoffs.

Any thoughts or predictions on the Whitecaps men as they head into the playoffs?

A few more thoughts after watching the clip: #1. While Darren Flutie had a great WDF, he wasn't too influential in the Grey Cup game as I believe he only caught one pass. Ray Alexander was most influential receiver in the Grey Cup game with at least two long receptions that set up two field goals, w...

Excellent link and post, Almo89! It was sure good to see that again for the first time in nearly 12 years. Just a few comments, thoughts, and questions after seeing that again: #1. In a previous posting, someone said that Ray Alexander may have broke the rules by using leverage to block the field go...

It looks like none of you have ever heard of Nuffy's Gourmet Donuts. They used to be very popular with outlets in many areas. But now, it seems like they are limited to just one store in Richmond. I used to go to their store at the small plaza at W. 49th Ave and Oak. It is now a Cyclone Taylor sport...

I remember the original White spot Drive-in on Granville, near where my grandfather lived, as being my first "fast food" experience. I know of at least one White Spot that still brings food to cars. Yeah, I also remember the first White Spot on Granville and W. 67th Ave in the Marpole dis...

White Spot doesn't really specialize in burgers, but they are well known for them, and theirs are definitely my favourite. Actually, I think White Spot is best known for their specialty hamburgers with their triple O sauce. But I didn't list them because they are not fast-food.....unless perhaps if...
