Are we talking about Smoker here, the old Michigan State QB IIRC?

If he was without a gig, one wonders why he wasn't scouted to a CFL camp before now. It's not like most teams are knee deep in depth at QB in this league.

Actually that is every players dream. One of the sad aspects of the CFL game is that nobody really wants to be here if given the option. I suppose it might be every high school player's dream to play at USC, Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State, Miami, Florida State, Tennessee, Texas, Auburn, LSU, etc....

Good post. I realize your frame of reference is limited to your 99 visits to BC Place since '94 but for me I was at opening night which was memorable for that event if not for the soccer game itself. Most of us will think back to the monster battles with the Blue Bombers in the early to mid '80s whi...

This night will be remembered by many of the faithful on here, myself included, for what happened immediately afterward: one of the most ill-informed, idiotic ramblings in the history of sports talk radio What was it??? Some nitwit gave a "sports" talk radio slot on CKNW to another nitwit...

THE interception? It was the 2nd one that killed us!

With Printers, we would be 6-0 right now.
Maybe even 7-0!

The hockey "regular" season is just one big glorified pre-season anyway. What could be more meaningless than a regular season NHL game in October? I'll be at BC Place that night because there is nowhere else worth being.

This will probably not prove too popular, but I am in favor of a 16 game schedule but a longer playoff to ensure that the cream really does rise to the top. They used to do something like this years ago (you'd play a home and away total point playoff). I think one game to the championship for winni...

CP AIR Good one - I like it. We could use Nazareth's "This Flight tonight" song ... Right now .... CP has gotta hope he "remains in the hangar!" LMAO!!! :rockin: Nazareth? Sure, they had a hit with a cover version. It was Joni Mitchell originally off the album "Blue".
