Re: Now is the time!
Not that I'd ever want an NFL team here (in fact I find it boring) but what is the minimum requirement? Oakland and Tampa Bay both averaged under 50 thousand per game last year, they had more seats, but no butts in them? 50000 is the minimum needed. The Bears with Soldier field have the smallest st...

Re: Skulsky: Buono may have the shoulder tap
Come on David, do you really think that Big Poppa Dave is just sitting in Europe waiting for the phone to ring? Why would he give up a dream job for a guy in his twilight in a beautiful country to simply become an "interim" coach?? Not likely. No one is coming in as a temp fix, and odds ar...

Re: Running-game gambit failed; Robertson may return
If we need a blocking back....why is Lumbala so under utilized?
Other than special teams he seems invisible.

Re: Travis Lulay talk and opinions
Lulay will never be Calvillo, so let's not kid ourselves. Calvillo has always been able to have a very quick release. In the early days, it wasn't always to the correct player, but it was always quick. Lulay hangs on to the ball....for a very long time. Rather than doing, it seems he is thinking. An...

Re: Running-game gambit failed; Robertson may return
We saw Brown struggling in practice just days before the game.
Wally had him returning kicks and in all honesty it looked like he could barely walk. All of us gave a collective headshake and wondered aloud wtf are you doing?
Guess we know why Paris doesn't play anymore now.

Re: Now is the time!
BC Place is not large enough to support NFL minimum requirements, so for Aquilini to pursue NFL ownership, he would likely have to build his own barn or purchase BC Place and make yet more renovations....something that won't happen either way.

Re: Now is the time!
Not to knock you Dominic, but I heard the same thing when Aquilini was trying to buy the Canucks. I would much rather have 1 owner with deep pockets than a consortium of locals. Is there anything wrong with trying to make money? Under Braley my tickets have gone from $17 to $45 in 3 years and the pr...

Re: Now is the time!
Why stop there? I mean Scott Ackles certainly could take the Club Presidents reign from Skulsky....but why not have Braley sell the team to Francesco Aquilini?

Re: Bombers 30 - Lions 17 Post Game Stats and Comments
Richard Wade IS working with the Lions as the Western Regional Scout. I'm guessing that's not Western Canada, so we do have an American scout. He's one of the best in the biz, but he can only bring in the talent, along with Roy Shivers. It's up to the coaches and GM to assess it and then to give the...

Re: Positives vs the Bombers
The Lions D kept them in the first half. - Too bad the game is 60 minutes Harris can carry the rock when the opportunity is given. - and he can also fumble when the opportunity is given Mitchell is a solid DT that can play on the big field. - one down 11 to go Lions still have a chance to surpass la...
