Man, I think the Grizzlies are the NBA equivalent of the Renegades as far as questionable management and ownership goes.

Carl Kidd and Roy Shivers. Make them a crew. I bet the commentary would be hilarious.

How about Danny McManus? He is pretty much at the end of his playing days. Maybe the idea of promoting from within for the OC position and bring him in as a replacement for one of the smaller positions. Might this be a good opportunity to bring a good personality who has a good offensive mind onboard?

I understand the age thing somewhat but his play this season says that if wants to go for 1 more season, he has shown enough for the Lions to take the chance. I think this is as much about the Lions realizing that CK is a fan favourite and that letting him go (one way or another) would not be a popu...

There is an old saying: "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" CK showed me something that I hadn't expected of him. He showed me that he can adapt to new situations and roles. Far from being a liability, he was a strength for this team not only by his play but by inspiration. I hope they keep ...

Hey, you are supposed to say "When do you want us to show up", not "Are we all invited". No sense in giving a choice now is there.

Oh... and probably cook up a nice little surf/turf meal with wine pairing, followed by marinated strawberries, served with vanilla infused marscapone and a balsamic/red wine reduction sauce and Champagne for midnight (TG for 1/2 bottles).
OK, now that is just plain cruel. :sigh:

Now completely engaging in some rumour mongering here so if someone has a better grasp on this, feel free to contardict. I have heard at various times that KA is not the easiest person to get along with. Part of that scenario is that he can be inflexable and rigid in his courses of action. That he h...

The basic plus for the Lions is that there is chance to get something for nothing. KC isn't in the Lions future plans and in a few months they won't have a say in the matter of who he talks to. If they can get anything for him at all, then that is all gravy.

Hey Blitz agree with most of what you said but why do you think the Edwards fumble on the goal line wasn't a fumble? According to the commentators, even the Alouette spotters up in the both thought it was a fumble which was why Popp didn't throw the challenge flag.

I think the thing that got DD the MVP tonight was the running. Some key runs in the game where a guy who doesn't run a whole lot put his body in the line of fire to get the job done.

I don't necessarily disagree with the cosmopolitan argument but the Grey Cup is but once every few years and if we are concerned about how well it might do in Surrey, then what does that say about Hamilton, Regina or any of the other smaller cities where that game is played. There might be something...
