I've heard the Lions and Argos have both scrapped their day before walk-throughs at the stadium. Lions will be practicing Friday in Surrey. :x Well, as much as it may be a hassle/distraction for the teams to do their walk-through down at B.C. Place, it does serve to generate publicity for game and ...

I wonder if Buck dresses on Saturday and starts in Regina a week later... which QB does Wally drop? Sankey? Yes, I heard that Buck would take Sankey's spot on the roster as the #3. As for Javy, I think he has some ligament damage in the lower part of his ankle. When I talked to Jay Pottinger in Cal...

I hope no one objects, but I moved this to the 4th Stringers forum. We're talking about who was and who wasn't at practice, severity of injuries etc. I know a lot of this was reported in the media, but it's the kind of info that bothers the front office. If one of the other Mods wants to move it bac...

PARIS JACKSON AND JOE SMITH NOW CONFIRMED AT SPORTS & STUFF ON OCT 7TH. BOBBY ACKLES AS WELL. ONE MORE PLAYER TO BE ANNOUNCED SHORTLY! Excellent! After much dithering, I've ordered a Joe Smith jersey from Rick. The man's a good sport; how many other pro athletes would agree to be tackled for a ...

Are you sure they're practicing in Surrey? :? The day before a game is usually a walk-through/media day at BC Place. Don't take that to the bank, but I'd check to make sure. You don't want to waste a trip to Walley only to not find them there.

Those that are bent out of shape are talking about things like SMS violations, deception from JC, never buy real estate from him blah, blah, blah. The 'never buy real estate from him' comments made me chuckle. Yea right. Like you're ever planning on vacating your parents' basement in the next 20 ye...

It has now been confirmed on CKNW - report from Jim Mullin upcoming. :yahoo: This is the best news of the season. First class player and person who's as popular with his teammates as he is with his fans. I don't think Lions fans could see him wearing any jersey colour other than black and orange. Co...

We saw in 2004 how CP took a team with a cheese whiz offensive line all the way to the GC.......so there's no doubting the guy's abilities........he has the tools to win championships and my money is on him doing just that.......no matter what team he's on. :wss: Won't be this season of course, but...

Neil Macrae unloads on Wally and the Lions

I'm not sure it's even worth wasting band-width on this blowhard (does he even have relevance in broadasting circles anymore? I mean, really. I'm not so sure anyone takes his tired-ass "opinions" seriously anymore). Regardless, for those that care, he unleashed a hate-filled tirade on Wall...

I agree on getting Foley more reps but we can't use 'over-worked' as an excuse today. IMO, the D overlooked the Als after last week's lopsided victory and mailed it in. Hey, it's human nature; it happens. But we can't say the front 4 was burned out. Jarious sustained plenty long drives for the offen...

Two things I noticed: 1. I recognized Cahoon in streetclothes long before before TSN said anything. I kept seeing him and wondering what happened? I think this is one area where I've been spoiled by the 'overthetop' coverage you get in the NFL. Great observations notahomer. For them to finally ment...

At the risk of heaping too much criticism Geroy's way, let's remember that he had his breakout game in Calgary and then injured his back. Despite the bye week, it was still not 100% when he came back and he may still be suffering some lingering effects. I'm not making excuses for him, I'm sure he'd ...

* Murphy and Jiminez overstepped the line of appropriate behaviour in disrespecting the opposing coach (Popp) last week. It must have been a rallying point to some degree to the Alouettes. I know I would be pumped if someone dissed my coach. This is a good point. While I recognize that Popp can be ...

Who would have thought a Montreal squad playing without Cavillo, Cahoon, and their starting left tackle would crush us so easily? Just didn't seem as though we could catch a break today, whereas everything seemed to go Montreal's way. Still, there is cause for alarm for a defence that seems to be g...

Dumb penalties will be addressed in the locker room at half-time. For both teams.

What a shift in field position on that kick-off. Nailed Montreal deep, they fumbled it forward and got unnecessary roughness on Banks. :bang:
