Re: Will Reilly Retire?
I did not realize Harris is 36. I thought he was about 30. He must have started his career late. My mistake. Ok forget about Harris. I personally don't see Reilly as our best chance to win. Hervey's decision to sign him to a big contract was a big mistake. It ahs been a failure. Who cares if he lead...

Re: Will Next Season be any Different?
No way if Reilly retires will Rourke be given $300,000 to be the starter. He is unproven and only started 1 or 2 games. Lions would be foolish to give him that much. My bet if Reilly retires is Lions rolling the dice on Trevor Harris with a prove me contract with bonuses for around $15,0000 to $200,...

Update: Michael Reilly retires
It was suggested by Province writer JJ Adams that Reilly may decide enough is enough and retire. He will be 37 in January and has taken a beating last 2 years. Also he is in training to be a firefighter and could decide to retire and do that. Why come back if Lions don't look on paper much better ne...

Most Likely Change in 2022
Leroy Blugh was supposed to be our DL coach this year. I think either he is rehired or a new DL coach is hired. The ex Lion who got the job by default was in over head and think he will be fired or demoted and a new more experienced DL coach comes in.

Will Next Season be any Different?
I really don't know how you can market this team and expect to see an increase in ticket sales when the team is a mess. How can you sell the team when very likely back next season will be Campbell, who has had 2 losing seasons in a row with Ottawa and now BC and gives me no confidence he can build a...

Campbell, McEvoy Jobs Safe
The new owner said the other day on the radio that he trusts the current management so are we to assume it is highly unlikely that either will be fired in the offseason and both will be back in 2022. If that is the case, will the OC be back and Campbell back as DC. Do we have to still pay Claybrooks...

Re: Radio Show says No One Cares about the Lions
Knowit All said: Who the heck is H and B? what station are they on? I could not remember their names and was just too lazy to look it up. Halford and Brough. I personally don't like these 2 and never have. Don't find them funny or entertaining and surprised they so popular. But I remember in early 7...

Radio Show says No One Cares about the Lions
Driving to work today I listened to some of the morning show H & B and they said they had not talked about the Lions yet because " No one cares". They said no one watched the game or knew it was even on. They were only mentioning it now because tomorrow the new owner will be a guest on...

Re: Reilly vs. Messier?
There is no way Reilly can be brought back for another year. He has been a disaster here and don't see him being marketable after 2 bad years. Nothing will change is year 3 and Lions just burning another year for likely the results will be the same. All this constant talk that they can still make th...

Re: Lions sign American kicker Nick Vogel
Since he has to Quarantine he will not play on Friday. It puts more pressure on Jimmy C to do well on Friday. If he kicks poorly again he likely will be cut. Lions giving him one more chance.

Re: Lions at Argos Oct. 30, 2021
I appreciate your optimism BC Fan, but I disagree with you. Lions are a bad team. Their record shows that. I am not convinced Lions will cut their kicker despite missing 3 field goals. He should be cut, but not convinced he will be. Lions also are done. No way they beat Hamilton in Hamilton. That co...

Re: Lions at Argos Oct. 30, 2021
In the offseason, Lions did not take the kicking game seriously and did a poor job of recruiting for it. First, the Japanese kicker failed and now Camacho. It has not come back to bit them. Camacho was terrible. No way Lions should have lost that game. The question is with just 3 games left will the...

Who will Win tomorrow - Lions or Argos
I hate to vote against my Lions, but I cannot see them turning it around in Toronto, where Argos are undefeated. Sad to say, but I expect another blowout loss.

CFL Big Transactions, Hirings & Firings
Today, Elks acquired Nick Arbuckle. Since he left Calgary, he has not been able to land a No 1 job and is now with his 3rd team since leaving Calgary. Will he earn the No 1 job in Edmonton? This is a no risk move for Edmonton. Time will tell if he pans out or is a career backup. This is old news, bu...

If Lions don't have a much better effort against the Argos then that will be very telling.
