Re: Some Sad News
Dear Purrcival, Just wanted to share my condolences. However, I'm happy to hear that you had such a great relationship with your Dad. You'll have many happy memories to look back on. I too lost my Dad some years back and our connections were the Lions & fishing. My "Old Man" and I woul...

Re: Jim Robson - 1964 Grey Cup Post Game
Thanks for this James. Great to hear Bill Munsey.
Sadly, Munsey passed away some years back. Did the Lions ever pay tribute to him at a home game?

Re: Dave Dickenson for head coach.
I wouldn't mind seeing DD as a head coach. He might take a bit of time to develop, but after what we've been through this season, so what?
I think Dunigan would have done just fine had he only had the pressure of being HC. Besides, wasn't he stuck with the owner's son as QB?

Re: I think I'll give up.
I know exactly how you feel Hutch. I went to see the Leos at Empire for the first time in '63. I witnessed the Kapp to Fleming long bomb and I was hooked. Been a Lions fan ever since. I still proudly wear #15 on all my jerseys. I have a replica '59 Lions jacket that I bought at the 96 Grey Cup in Ha...

Re: The CFL Hall of Fame
I've been to The Hall on a few occasions. It's a touch hokey and could use some sprucing up, but it's still a great place to visit. I once visited on a quiet weekday and had the run of the place. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I had the viewing theatre to myself and was provided wit...

Re: Off-Season Talk
Please everybody, let's keep this forum going throughout the off-season. I go through serious football withdrawals and like to keep up with all the off-season news. Being in Saskatchewan, this is my only link to Lions off-season antics. On to 2010, the year of the Lions! I'm with ya #1. I really ap...

Re: Casey: Stuff of legend - Ed Willes
Likewise, I'm very happy for Casey & the Lions. I'm one of those who was peed off over the decision that was made re the 04 Grey Cup. However, in the vast scheme of things, perhaps it has all worked out for the best. An all around great story.

Re: Hamilton fans & Ivor Wynn Security - - Pure Garbage
The only a$$holes I ran into were two drunken oafs that attacked a cab driver. I managed to pull one of the &*$@'s off the driver. The rest of the crowd stepped in to back me and the cops were there in seconds. Partick Kane and his cousin were up vsiting from Buffalo? It couldn't have been Patr...

Re: Hamilton fans & Ivor Wynn Security - - Pure Garbage
I guess it depends where you were sitting. I was on the 30 yard line, row fourteen, opposite side of the field from the teams. The fans there were very passionate about their team. We had some sparring all in a good nature and when leaving the game, I received congrats from a few of the fans. The on...
