Great Thread Folks. I remember lots of the names but as I was but a wee lad in the 70's, I didn't really know all the positions etc. But reading the names and descriptions has brought back a lot of thoughts about youth and hope and pure delight. Thanks for the journey.

Yeah, that 94 game is one for the ages.

That 2004 Edmonton game at home here ranks way up there for me. I still watch that DVD regularly, best $2.00 I ever spent

I was at that game too and yes I was dissappointed that there was no onfield presentation but IMO the whole thing was ridiculous. They trotted out the Grey Cup, and then it dissappeared. At the end of the game, most of us didn't know that the change had been made and I still don't understand it. I h...

I guess history repeats. This issue came up at the beginning of last season too. Some thought their costumes were too riske. Some will probably never be happy regardless of what they wear. Personally, I coudn't care less what they wear. These are young, talented women who basically donate their time...

On November 16th 2004, I lost a very good friend who was with the RAF in WWII. The last day that I actually saw him alive was Nov 11th. I think of him often especially at this time of year. He was very proud of his contribution and that was how it should be. He flew more than 30 missions over Europe...

Start CP. If DD is ready to go, then give him some reps in garbage time and the same if not more against the Riders - they both need to be in game shape going into the playoffs.

Although there really isn't much difference, I went with Calgary because as a team I believe they are less experienced in the playoffs than Edmonton. Mostly I am thinking about Ray but the late addition of Troy Davis added another experienced weapon which I don't believe Calgary can match. I also th...

Sorely would have liked to play at my high school in Burnaby but alas, no team. No baseball, hockey team either just basketball which I hate playing and a soccer squad. I guess cost was and still is the issue. It certainly wasn't injury as high school gym teachers didn't have any issue with us playi...

I don't know that any individual could afford to buy that piece of land now. The worth I don't know but all told it is probably in the 100's of millions with the included stadium. I always thought it was a mistake to put the Stadium downtown and still do. The bulk of the population doesn't live down...

Same for me on the Pankratz thing. I remember him a s a pretty good player rather than just a fair one. Maybe I'm getting old and dotty however.

I've been to both BC Place and Empire as well. Sure there were good things to say about Empire but I will take a dome any day although I would like a retractable. I think 40000 would be bare minimum. Someday the Dome with come down but it seems to be wearing quite well. When it does die, a replaceme...

It proves that even though they *say* they aren't liable on the ticket, it really means they are. So by all means, if anything happens to your vehicle if you're ever parked on one of there lots, go ahead and sue. They are liable. Are you sure about that? You can sue anybody for any reason of course...

I take it there was a problem at the last tailgate. Did they ask you guys to leave or is it a jacked up price problem?
