The Whitecaps had to settle for a 0-0 scoreless draw against Montreal in their first game of their semi-final round. Now, it all depends on the results of the second game on Sunday in Montreal. The Whitecaps haven't reached the championship game in their league since 1992. The Whitecaps seemed to be...

Official 2006-07 Vancouver Giants/WHL Season Thread

Now that the WHL season has started, let's use this thread to discuss Vancouver Giants and other WHL matters. It will be interesting to see how well the Giants can defend their WHL title as the enter the season as the defending WHL champions. Even if the Giants don't manage to defend their WHL title...

I think I'm strong enough to lift, toss, and catch the Felions. But just in case....anybody want to give me a hand?

Even with all those little orange footballs that Subway has been throwing into the stands, Quiznos is still more popular than Subway. I guess food and toys are two different things.

Still, very good of Subway to partner with the Lions.

I didn't find any of the Male Cheerleaders that were posted all that attractive, but they did look very happy! If they want to be cheerleaders who cares... as long as they are happy. I must say that some if not all male cheerleaders may have a hidden agenda in that they joined the squad in order to...

I disagree that women find it difficult to judge other women. What I meant was, do women feel and concede that men might be more "objective" judges when it comes to determining beautiful women? Women can certainly judge other women's appearances, but whether her opinion gets a lot of supp...

Obviously, men and women can have different opinions as to who is considered hot, pretty, or handsome. It's difficult for men to evaluate other men, while women may find it difficult to judge women too. But in some cases, it may be unanimous. I'm sure both men and women agree that Miss Universe cont...

In light of all this discussion about male cheerleaders, here's another question for all of you. Suppose you have a son who is in high school or college. And he insists on joining the school's cheerleading squad. Would you freak out and would you try to talk him out of it? Would you feel embarrassed...

Well said, Pinkfreud, for your 1000th post.

I see you went ahead and created this thread after I hesitated. Thanks. I'm interested in what others have to say about this topic.

Instead of creating a new thread about gender equality like Pinkfreud suggested, I'll use this thread since it involves another question that I would like to ask the ladies during their schooling years. Pinkfreud, Charlene, and other Lionbacker ladies: Were you participate in any sports teams during...

Robbie, this is an interesting topic. Why don't you start a seperate thread on it in the Pub so we can continue? Perhaps I can do that. But I'll point out that some of this stuff was discussed previously during a topic about affirmative action. You can check out this fairly long thread that consist...

It's amazing how many people say that male cheerleaders are gay...way to be close-minded people. Last time i checked, this was 2006....you'd think by now men and women would be free to do things that are traditionally only done by the opposite sex and not be seen as "gay" That is s...
