Re: Who Will win Lions or Riders
On a positive note, we should see Sol , Manny , Cody and other former Lions who we all cheered for. I just want a good game, it's a night out.

Re: Lions sign Brandon Bridge
We already know what Bridge can do. Chuck the ball a mile and not much else. He will get killed because he can't read defenses and even if our O line is playing better they are not going to give Bridge all the steamboats he needs to find his receiver. We also know what O'Brien can't do and that is ...

Re: how would you weight these factors in our recent success?
Kelly Bates working with a stable O-Line is most of the reason the Lions "aren't as bad as we thought" and are also much improved. They are playing real tire fire teams (plus MTL gifted them a win) and are feeling loose. When you have very little chance of playoffs, a lot of the normal pr...

Re: 2019 CFL Season
https://3downnation.com/2019/09/27/eskimos-place-qb-trevor-harris-on-six-game-injured-list/ Trevor Harris has been placed on the 6 game injured list. Too bad BC frittered away the games they should have won this season (at least 3 of them). EDM is in bad shape now. BC's playoff chances just went fr...

Re: Keith Urban GC Halftime Show
Re: SuperBowl Acts
Per league policy, the NFL will cover all production costs of the halftime show, which can exceed $10 million, but will not pay the performers.
The show essentially acts as a self-promotion event that can boost new album sales and help keep an artist relevant.

As done as the Lions are, I'll still go to all the games and cheer for anything resembling good football. Sooner or later we will get another win although I predict a Montreal win this Friday.

Re: NFL Cutdown Date
What am I missing? If you are at NFL caliber but not quite good enough to even land on a PR why would you come to BC? You want to play football so you can keep your foot in the door for maybe another NFL chance so the CFL is a good option. But not only does BC have one of the most expensive living c...

Re: Lions 2019 Season
Thanks for your update Blitz. I was wondering when you would surface. I'm optimistic for the year as Hervey did what I wanted by clearing house and starting again. With luck it will happen sooner than later.
I'm looking forward to next Saturday and the start of the 2019 Season.

Re: 2019 training camp
I enjoyed the posts by Figaro and Hambone on getting to the games in the "olden" days. Hambone, 2 hours, in those days, from Campbell River to Departure Bay meant you were really hauling ..... Brings back memories having grown up in CR in the 60s.
