Re: 2017 All Things Lions Marketing & Promotions

season ticket renewals are out. Another increase WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! $735 to $750 !!!!!!! Fired off an email to the Lions expressing my frustrations at the last couple of seasons under Buono and his inept coaching staff. Asked them for reasons why I should give them $2,000 for another season of bor...

Re: Eskimos @ Lions, Game Day Thread, October 21, 2007

With the Lions out of the playoffs, terrible weather, poor marketing and fan indifference etc, etc.....I think we might see VERY few people in the seats at BC Place on Saturday, and especially the final game of the season on Nov. 4.

Re: Grey Cup Tickets

The Ottawa Grey Cup committee is indeed far more organised than last year's Toronto's GC group. - and have delivered a very attractive Grey Cup ticket package.

Last year's tickets didn't even fit into the plastic lanyards that were selling outside of BMO Field.

Re: 2017 All Things Lions Marketing & Promotions

Their marketing efforts are embarrassing.

The website STILL lists the 2016 corporate sponsors on the Draft A Lion page. I'm sure the 2017 sponsors are quite impressed.

Re: Lions ownership discussion thread

I credit West Coast Joe with the line / question of the year:

"Why is David Braley torturing the fans of the B.C. Lions?"

The alleged sale of the team cannot happen quick enough - for a variety of reasons.

Re: Calgary 21 - BC 17, Post-game Stats and Comments

Not impressed with Jennings' time management in the final minute of the game. Wasted a lot of time reading the defence and then throws a dinky pass. And what's this going to a shotgun formation on 3rd and short ?? Also....if you need 4 yards on 3rd down, you better make sure you run at least a 5 ya...

Re: CFL Games of Week 1

The first two games of the season have certainly lived up to their billing and provided "don't turn off the TV" type of drama. From Darian's Durant redemption / stick to Chris Jones victory on Thursday, to last night's double OT thriller in Ottawa, the 2017 season is certainly off to a gre...

Re: Lions ownership discussion thread

I couldn't help but notice how thousands, if not tens of thousands, of Canadian millennials went to Seattle a couple of weeks ago to cheer for the Blue Jays against the Mariners. The Blue Jays seem to be hot with young adults in Vancouver, as in Toronto. The Seahawks seem to have a passionate follo...

Re: Lions ownership discussion thread

The Lions and the CFL need to do a much better job to attract the millennials to games. Granted, the millennials are not the only group staying away from the CFL, but if they are attending any game in BC Place, it's on nights when the Whitecaps are playing - not the Lions. I have two millennials at ...

Got mine as soon as the first window opened for ST holders of other CFL clubs. Scored an aisle seat 25 rows up around the 20.
I also purchased my tickets when the window opened in April, knowing that (quality) seats would go fast.

Re: Mini-Camp Breakdown

A few notes from Friday's Mini-Camp practice....or, as it is known on the Lions site: Organized Team Activity: * I did not attend the first two sessions, but it appears that QB's Alex Ross and Bryan Scott had their best sessions of the week. Passes were accurate and they were to able to hit the shor...

Re: Grey Cup Tickets

Shows you the difference between last year in Toronto and this year in Ottawa. Last year, ticket prices for the Grey Cup were announced to the general public on July 23rd with the actual window for non Ago season ticket open around Aug 10.

Re: Leos/Bombers Post-Game Thoughts

Credit to the Lions for coming back from a large deficit, but this is the 3rd straight sub par performance from the defense. You can't expect to consistently win while giving up 30+ points a game.
