Re: SuperBowl XLVIII Broncos vs Seahawks Game Day Thread

Some other post Superbowl ruminations...... laughed at the aborted coin toss. Namath tossed the coin before Seattle had made the call. Good catch by the Ref. Turns out the coin toss probably wouldn't have mattered. Carroll claims the Broncos ALWAYS take the ball and Carroll always defers. He was ex...

Jim's not going anywhere this year. He confirmed it.

Hmmmm..... what of Demarco now...... trade bait for Winnipeg?
Can they really afford to keep Burris and Glenn? I find it odd that Kevin never had a press conference as Hank did.

Re: Chappy to the mountain

How much does a head coach make in the CIS ? Somewhere in the $85-100K range. I bet Jacques could get more due to his resume (CFL co-ordinator, CIS head coach, Grey Cup x 2, Vanier Cup). And the fact that SFU Football needs some good publicity in the local recruiting battle (losing to UBC, as of la...

Re: Lions 36 - Alouettes 14 Post Game Stats and Comments

This was actually the Als' best performance at new BC place since their first 43-1 pasting there and that they managed to keep at 15-7 late in the third was quite the feat.

Re: Ticket Prices / Lions' Marketing

I love the 8 month payment plan for both grey cup and season ticket. comes to only 60 dollars a month which is easier to handle.

A 7PM start here is not as bad for the lions as it equates to 4PM PST while an eastern team playing west at 7 PM is 10PM EST

Fifty-fifty chance of rain. Might even things a little

Looks like it will be Neiswander to start thursday unless AC has a sudden Frosted Flakes ( 'i feel grrrrrreat!' ) moment tomorrow.

I'll get to meet former Vanier Cheetah Patrick Kabongo on the field after the game with his 'mom'.

Re: Troy Smith signs with the Alouettes

The Als will treat this new prospect with all the due respect and diligence they showed Adrian McPherson, and their current prospects. ??? He'll get zero playing time, and get strung along. Watch your playing days disappear with the Montreal Alouettes. don't be so sure. AC might be calling it quits...
