I agree with Big Time big time! IMO it is best to fire a coach when you have a choice of quality replacements to choose from. So getting Matthews makes sense and doesn't allow him to go to Hamilton or Winnipeg.

Matthews coaching the Argos is certainly a shocker but great for CFL fans. A lot of the time last year the Lions played on a short field due to the Defense getting so many take aways. The short field also means less time of possession and less total rushing yards.

I thought it was illegal but several times when Bombers were on offense there was a siren blaring during the snap count. It didn't seem to affect the bombers but it got annoying to hear while watching the game on TV. Anyways, glad the Riders won because it helps the Lions quest for the playoff cross...

IMO in oder to win the Lions need a return of the shut down D. Difficult to do the way AC and Avon Colbourne are playing. In a lot of the Lions wins last year the D gave the O a short field.
