Re: Randy Ambrosie optimistic about 2021
If most Canadians are vaccinated by Sept. (I doubt it but what do I know?) Then the CFL could start and play a shortened season.

Re: Randy Ambrosie optimistic about 2021
With access to the entire BC Place seating, the building could easily accommodate 15-20k socially distanced fans...wait that is pretty close to a pre Covid crowd .

Re: Solly to retire from CFL - will continue to reside in Vancouver
Arguably the best MLB to ever play in the CFL. How about "in elite company" Elimimian missing from this list with 833 career tackles. [Defensive Tackle stats were first kept in 1987 and special teams tackles in 1991] Most Defensive Tackles Career: Willie Pless 1241, Mike O'Shea 1151, Alon...

Re: 3DownNation says 2021 Season May Not Happen
I doubt that Braley's estate would be on board with financing a cash loosing season.

Re: 3DownNation says 2021 Season May Not Happen
https://3downnation.com/2021/02/12/2021-cfl-season-may-not-be-plausible-league-could-look-to-2022-report/ 3DownNation reporting that sources close to league executives are saying the 2021 season may not be plausible. No season would surely be the final nail in Ambrosie's coffin. While no one can co...

Typical radio business way of doing business: do a format change with no advance notice or hint and no official announcement. Then carry on with the new format as if the past never existed.

Re: Solly to retire from CFL - will continue to reside in Vancouver
One of the greatest linebacker to don the black and orange. Arguably the best MLB to ever play in the CFL. When Sol first came to the CFL he really made a name for himself as a big hitter. Sometimes the deliverer of the big hit can get injured so a few years into his CFL career he switched to a Pet...

Re: Ed Hervey leaves Lions for "personal reasons"
I'm ok with Campbell being HC, DC, co-GM. He will probably let McEvoy handle most of the GM stuff but with Campbell getting the final say on which players go or stay. Lions could use some veteran leadership on D; someone like, I don't know, Solomon Elimimian....Hervey's biggest mistake was getting r...

Re: 2021 CFL draft
When Bo Lokombo was a lion, I thought that they should have tried him at Safety. Yeah - well that experiment worked out well for the Als - thought he was very solid there replacing the injured Loffler - guy can really hit/tackle but showed range and smarts. With Bo, plus promising draft pick Willia...

Re: Ed Hervey leaves Lions for "personal reasons"
Welcome back Blitz.
I always wavered back and forth between things that I liked about how Wally did things, and things that I didn't like. I felt the same way about Hervey.
So Wally is retired and Hervey is gone. I am not unhappy.

Re: why is CFL interest so tepid in toronto?
I prefer to see the current highly talented CFL rosters with a Canadian player component vs a downgraded less talented, less entertaining heavily Canadianized roster.

Re: why is CFL interest so tepid in toronto?
the league needs to fix toronto, BC and montreal....... wondering if MLSE might want some sort of beach-head in BC, montreal...... will the league be more canadian after a government bailout? The league is moving towards being less Canadian and should think about that aspect as well imo. Not only w...

The CFL's best home is that the vaccine is widely distributed by mid June or July so they can get fans in the stands, otherwise......
