Re: BC Lions @ Toronto Argonauts - Aug. 14, 2009 Game Day Thread
I can't believe that the CFL allows TSN to be pinheads. I don't think I've ever seen that with an NFL game.

Re: tainted win
Well I for one, am shocked at the sort of welcome shown here to our new very bestest friend EV-ar lj909.
He came here to educate us as to the error of our ways; he means well, and by well that equates to the Saskatchewan Roughriders having every call go their way from now on, forever and ever ...

Re: Seven of eight teams under the cap
Seems fair to deduct from the following years cap the amount the offending team went over. The only exception would be the Riders since they should have any penalty multiplied by 100!!!

Lions major announcement?
I caught on 1040 this afternoon that David Braley was going to be holding a press conference in Vancouver tomorrow where a "major announcement" would be made.
Anyone have an idea what it could be? It's got to be more than just a player signing, since Wally handles those conferences himself. Rick ...

Doug Berry fired
Not surprising.
As per TSN.ca...
Doug Berry has been fired as head coach of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.
One year after making an appearance in the Grey Cup, the Blue Bombers struggled to an 8-10 record and second place finish in the East Division this season.
That was followed by a 29-21 loss ...

Re: Ed Willes Article about Wally Buono and John Hufnagel
Having lived in Calgary and having season tickets during the 90's, there was no better offence than what Wally and Hufnagel put on the field. It will be a tough game for the Lions this week. :helmet:

O.K read the thread, had about the same stat line vice two picks. The only difference is he won that game, and should have one this one too. Why don't you guys ask for some replacement defensive players. Looks like they're the ones to blame in that game. Couldn't stop a third stringer WOW

Re: 'This is OUR League' video
Yeah, last night was the first time that I had seen this video and I thought about this thread instantly when it came on and remembered that I had forgot to look at it this past week like I had been meaning to. I had tears in my eyes by the end of it, it was incredible. A bunch of people in my ...

Re: Do the Argos have enough?
I cheer for any team playing the Riders.
I hope they get smoked. We'd rather play the semi here than have the Lions dodge projectiles at Taylor Field.
