Re: Viewing CFL in the USA
Thanks! I found the ESF but not the Western, yet. I have Cox cable service and full wifi, so your info is encouraging, I'll start working on it. I know what you mean about the bars on Sunday, I went thru that in Maui a few years ago!

Re: Lions vs. Bombers Game Day Thread
Why bother having all these reviews when they can't get them right when it really counts. We all see a fumble. The announcers see a fumble. And the post game panel unanimously agree it's a fumble. Yet the "command centre" doesn't. How does that happen? My brain is fried, I can only determine the ...

Re: Lions @ Alouettes. Game Day Thread. Eastern Semi-Final
Benevides must make a qb change in the second half or he will be facing questions all off season about his desire to stick with Glenn, regardless of the game's outcome. His job may depend on it.

Re: *poop* year for CFL?
OK. I got two responses from my tongue-in-cheek top ten list... from either end of the intelligence spectrum. One thoughtful and insightful the other a knee jerk response often used by folks unable to accept constructive criticism. I've been a lifelong CFL fan (since the 60's) and will be so until I ...

Lousy year for CFL?
Here's my top ten list of why this year has been sub standard...
10. Too many blowouts
9. Too many injuries
8. Officiating
7. Lopsided divisions
6. Too many empty stadium seats (overpriced?)
5. Lack of star power
4. Bad QBs
3. Bad coaching
2. Mediocre broadcasters and analysts
and the No. 1 reason ...

Re: Riders vs. Lions Game Thread
I haven't read the rule but it seems inconsistent. It sounds like a receiver can jump up at the one yard line, catch the ball, fall into the end zone, drop it on contact with ground and score a TD (?). That is an incomplete pass outside of the end zone. I did hear something about Garrett "taking a ...

Re: Riders vs. Lions Game Thread
Brutal non-review on the Garrett touchdown. He did not survive contact. I thought every "touchdown" was reviewed?
DH
Not really sure how that works on a coffin corner type play. I think it was probably good but sure would've liked a review or at least a definitive camera angle ...

Re: Riders at Lions Game Day Thread November 3, 2012
I think a big part of the attendance question is seasonal, people have a lot more to do in the summer. Me and my family are often away on summer weekends so most Sat nights are out. In Oct/Nov, the weather here is crap and fall is typical "football season". Right now, no NHL helps too.

Re: Riders at Lions Game Day Thread November 3, 2012
It's interesting that Sask is opting to sit some starters. I wonder if that will change should Edmonton beat Calgary. Then again, maybe they don't care if they play out east where the semi-final weather is not a factor. I'm still trying to figure out the spike in Lions attendance. Things that ...

Re: Krazy George????
His stadium entrances were legendary, I remember he once came in on the roof of a garbage truck pounding his drum, the crowd went wild. His act must be very strenuous though, the way he would yell at the crowd and run around, hard on a guy in retirement. However, it would be very cool if they could ...
