Re: All things Media/Marketing 2024

It's good to get airtime on the market leading station, but the 30-minute postgame show is a major disappointment. Last year, by the time I got out of the underground parking lot next to B.C. Place and got radio reception, Moj and Giulio were signing off their postgame show. There's then no footbal...

All things Media/Marketing 2024

The Leos have just announced a broadcast partnership with radio station 980 CKNW in which the city's #1 radio station will carry all home and away games this season. Moj and Giulio return as pxp and colour man respectively. There will be a one-hour pre and half-hour post game show for all games. In ...

Re: Training camp 2024

Great interview! Thanks B.C.FAN. The interviewer (Hastings?) has a presence and demeanor that puts these guys at ease so he was able to draw some really candid and thoughtful responses to his questions. It's so refreshing to hear our athletes speak from the heart instead of the usual cliches. DH :co...

Re: Training camp 2024

A nice "sack, scoop, and score" here by Demetrius Taylor when he was at Appalachian State.

Re: Training camp 2024

The reports on Meyer sure make it tempting to advocate for him over Flintoft. Meyer seems to bring more to the table, especially if he is a potential replacement for Whyte down the road. It is hard to justify having a US player just for punts and kickoffs unless he is excellent. Not sure that Flint...

Re: Training camp 2024

Interested to see what, if anything, we can read into the Taylor signing. To me, these late TC signings are often a sign that the club is not satisfied with what they have. Unless Taylor has been on their radar and the opportunity to sign him recently presented itself? Hard to know where they see hi...

Re: CFL News re: TC's 2024- Not BC Lions

Danny Austin reporting that the Stamps' Malik Henry went down with a potentially serious injury today, attempting a catch and going down hard. Said it doesn't look good.

Hope he's okay. Receivers like him are good for the league.

Re: Lions' receivers

Lucky certainly played around the edges of "team guy" vs "me guy." I get his eccentric personality and being good with the fans, but can see how an old-school coach might eschew all the 'unique entrance' schtick and excessive hot-dogging. The cryptic posts on "X" about ...

Re: Training camp 2024

When I saw Prukop skipping short passes into the McMhahon Stadium turf, I thought to myself, "uh-oh. This is not good." Despite his short yardage proficiency, he has never had an accurate arm. I guess the club figures Dolegala or Brice will be good enough (e.g., Tommy Stevens) and it's imp...

The club has just announced that, due to demand, the Upper Bowl is now open for the home opener on June 15.

Call me old fashion but the best ever Lions unis were from the Joe Kapp and Willie Fleming era. Orange paws on a black helmet.
That was my "other" choice (e.g. paw, old roaring lion head etc.).

Agree Squishy. For me, those would be an awesome 3rd uniform. 1976/77 throwbacks.

Re: Training camp 2024

They certainly have loads of game film of all the rookies they need to evaluate in the coming days and that must be their No. 1 objective fielding that roster for game 1. I would still like to see a sprinkle of more veterans — guys like Perkins and Knevel or "projected" starting receivers...

Re: Which helmet decal do you prefer for the Lions?

I guess if they’re going to use the monogram decal full time it may grow on me in time, but I find it a little bland. The Hamilton Ti-Cats did something similar (TC) during the 1968 and 1969 seasons. With our roaring lion, you instantly know when the team steps on the field that we are mountain lion...

Which helmet decal do you prefer for the Lions?

Which black helmet decal would you prefer to see the Leos wear for most games?
