Re: Adam Bighill released by Saints

Up front money to Cummings lost. Probably big money to Lokombo being signed. Not sure if there is SMS left at this point.

Re: Lions trade with Bombers for this years 1st and 2nd round picks

An interesting trade risk for both teams. It may take a couple of years to see who won the trade. It may work out better for both teams with SMS, roster needs at the moment and in the future.

Re: Leos/Bombers Post-Game Thoughts

Yep it looked like a fumble to me as well. OTOH there were a bunch or penalties not called or plays needing reviews to overturn. Those are things they should have gotten correct the 1st time.

Re: What if Als go over SMS and lose a draft pick?

Interesting question. It would be unfair to the Lions to lose a draft pick they acquired from the Als. If the Als do in fact go over the SMS to the extent they are to lose a 1st round pick, that should now carry over to the 2018 1st round pick. Essentially you can't take away something the Als don't...

Re: The Playoff Cross-Over

Never been a fan of the crossover. Always been a West versus East traditionalist. I say that even though it might be the Bombers that end up 4th in the west and become the crossover team.

Re: Eric Norwood Released by Tiger-Cats

I'm hearing that Norwood was released due to his 2015 severe injury and possibly not even being ready until LD. He was a very good player and might be again however it's a timing issue.

Where is Los Cabos did you go? We just got back on Monday. I also saw some questionable patent BC Lions items while there.

Because he's a Canadian starter. That said he has anexpensive contract and is not a free agent. However, I think there are several teams interested. Not sure who can actually afford him though.

Re: How is Winnipeg affording all this?

So far during the FA feeding frenzy, the Bombers have signed: -Andrew Harris -Ryan Smith -Justin Medlock -Jeff Keeping -Euclid Cummings -Keith Shologan Add to that list Weston Dressler. Did they just become the front runner for 2016 Grey Cup or ? No. They still have some significant issues on the O...

Re: How is Winnipeg affording all this?

Absurd comment. Some players will be traded or cut before SMS starts adding up. No different than what Ottawa did last year for example. Hmmm...really? Milt Stegall, former Bomber finds it amusing. WBB.png Good for him. He should know that aside from bonus / upfront money that the SMS $$'s don't st...
