Re: Stampeders 14 - Lions 7 Post Game Stats and Comments
Wow, I can't believe Coach Benevides made those comments about his other receivers, namely the Canadian receivers. Basically he is saying that they are useless or hopeless. The truth of the matter is that these receivers have had very little chance to participate as the ball is not thrown their way ...

Re: Andrew Harris to have surgery ...
I must be alone. I haven't seen anyone else mention it, but I thought the hit on Bryan Burnham was a very bad hit. Even looking at replay, to me it looked like the defender lowered his helmet and went straight into the rib cage. I knew instantly he was out the rest of the night at least. Opinions ...

I don't understand AH only getting 8 touches. No, wasn't getting the holes, but keep pounding and he'll get there. Every loss this year has been less touches for Andrew.

Gotta cheer for the Eastern 'Cats!
Lots of good comments listed,
but in small part, out of respect for Mr. Braley.
We had an interesting experience years ago,

Re: 2013 Grey Cup: Hamilton vs. Saskatchewan - rooting for?
Hamilton has my support. We are only two days removed from the WF and all I am hearing is how no one is going to come and take the Rider's Grey Cup from them, how Calgary thought they were so much better and Durant wasn't letting them in HIS dressing room and the latest is "how should SK treat Kent ...

Re: 2013 Grey Cup: Hamilton vs. Saskatchewan - rooting for?
I do expect them to win the Grey Cup, I hope that they don't. But more to the point, win or lose, it is the team that actually plays the game, not the loud mouthed, extremist fans who support them. For the players, they are worthy of a well done. The fans, not so much.

Sorry. I actually questioned myself on that. Actually, I am normally pretty anal about grammar and spelling. (Maybe because I'm originally from BC ---- don't lump me in with Saskatchewanians!) LOL

Thanks. Must be getting old. I thought the ball crossed the plain first.

Maybe I missed something...
Seriously, on the Garrett td last week and Messam's today, what was the difference? Thought it was determined that once the ball crossed the plain, the ground couldn't cause a fumble. Wouldn't that have applied to Messam's today as well. Just wondering if I missed something.

Re: What made you become a B.C. Lions fan?
Squishy 35, my story is almost the same as yours. We moved to small town Saskatchewan when I was 8. Two TV channels. I remember the whole family watching football and me being bored to tears (being a girl). When I was 14 or 15, my older brother took me to a Lions/Riders game in Regina. He took the ...

Heard on the radio yesterday that last week Chamblin asked the stadium guys to crank the PA system for announcing and the music. Isn't that similar?

I was wondering when I saw him on Saturday. He wasn't on the sidelines when TSN focussed on him and not wearing any Eskimo gear. Normally, a member of the team would be at least sporting a team shirt and hat or something.
