Does anyone know of a seating chart for bc place that shows row numbers? The charts at ticketmaster and bclions.com don't shown them. Or can anyone describe how the rows are numbered? Thanks in advance.
Roughly speaking, single letters (A, B, C...) are below where the tunnel comes out and double ...

Re: 2011 Western Final Ticket Count
Has anyone actually heard that the Lions are receiving the revenue from the WDF and not the league.
All playoff gate goes to the league unless other arrangements (IE: a big cheque) have been made.
It seems like a no brainer that Mr Braley would purchase the revenue rights but perhaps he did not, or ...

Re: Why Our Leos Will Win the WDF
The biggest concern I have is over-confidence by the Lions. IMO the last Edmonton game was actually a lot closer than most people give the Esk credit for. There were a handful of plays (Esky drops, overthrows, missed tackles,..) that could have quite easily gone the other way and perhaps changed the ...

Re: 2011 Western Final Ticket Count
Seeing a packed stadium says, "Success." And seeing success makes people (spectators and sponsors alike) want to be a part of it.
Empty seats say the opposite.
To my mind, it is far better (specifically from a business perspective) to have a packed house and make a little less money this one time ...

Re: 2011 Western Final Ticket Count
I suggested in a previous post the Lions' poor start this year as one of possibly many factors hampering WF ticket sales. Now I have to wonder if someone in business ops similarly looked at our 0-5 record back in late July and said, "Well, looks like we won't need to worry about having to promote ...

Any new update on the ticket sales
Haven't heard anything official. Only update I saw was that the Lions "as of Friday are closing in on 40,000" (source: http://slam.canoe.ca/Slam/Football/CFL/BC/2011/11/18/18990701.html )

Re: Cable Cam for WDF??
But isn't it already awkward and biased for TSN to have Rod Black at one game and Cuthbert / Suitor at the other.sj-roc wrote:Unless they have two of these units — one for each DF — I'd guess the answer is no. It would come off awkward (and even biased) to have it for one game and not the other.

Cable Cam for WDF??
Anyone know if they will have the cable cam for the WDF?
It looked awesome at the BC Place opener on Sept 30. I hope they have it on Sunday! I assume it is TSN's decision, right?

Re: 2011 Western Final Ticket Count
This was an inexplicable lost opportunity. I believe that with a meaningful marketing campaign, including a good-quality, stylish television commercial, and more reasonable upper bowl ticket prices, the Lions could easily have sold this game out. The extra 10 thousand tickets sold (even at $45 ...

Re: 2011 Western Final Ticket Count
Sales seem to be slowly picking up...
As of Thursday afternoon, the B.C. Lions had sold about 37,000 tickets for the game against the Edmonton Eskimos. Lions president and CEO Dennis Skulsky said he’s OK with the number, even though the new facility has room for 52,000 spectators.

Re: 2011 Western Final Ticket Count
Climbing towards the magical 40,000 mark.....
News1130Sports: 36,000 tickets sold for Western final. Crowd could be anywhere from 45-50,000.
With 36K sold now, this current pace puts us on track for 42K + walkup. 45K seems like an upper limit IMO at the moment.
Not bad but I hope the Lions ...

That's kind of low IMO, although there's still lots of time until Sunday. I think we definitely should crack 40k. I would think we'll get a walkup of about 3k. If we can sell another 6k between now and Sunday that ...

Re: 2011 Western Final Ticket Count
It's better to have 40 k of knowledgeable fans, than 50 K plus who insist on doing the wave when our offence is on the field
For years I have wondered why the wave only happened on offence, especially when there were big crowds. I used to think it was just chance and bad timing and then ...
