My initial thought too until I saw a replay. I don't think Shaq 88 was the intended target. I think he expected another receiver to break his pattern off where he threw it but the receiver kept going downfield.

Why, at this point in a lost season, or even during last week’s game in Winnipeg, would you not give Ross plenty of snaps to see what he has and to give him crucial experience?
