David Braley was in town this week to meet with the business community and attend The Waterboys breakfast yesterday, but took ill and was admitted to a Vancouver area hospital. It appears to be some type of non life-threatening bacterial infection, but will keep him in hospital for several days. I would say it's nothing too alarming, but definitely something to monitor, especially as he's 74-years old. Lastest story here.

Seems this health scare is a little more serious than first reported. Braley remains in a Vancouver hospital for treatment for a diabetic-related foot infection, reports The Sun's Mike Beamish here. Surprised Skulsky was as forthcoming about the ailment as he was. Buono refused to disclose it 2 days earlier.
