Another major for Ham, Zach C to Tasker, 37-10 after the failed convert. Antolin returns it but only to the Ham25.

That TD was close re: Tasker's knee down before the ball broke the plane.
Sports can be a peculiar thing. When partaking in fiction, like a book or movie, we adopt a "Willing Suspension of Disbelief" for enjoyment's sake. There's a similar force at work in sports: "Willing Suspension of Rationality". If you doubt this, listen to any conversation between rival team fans. You even see it among fans of the same team. Fans argue over who's the better QB or goalie, and selectively cite stats that support their views while ignoring those that don't.

I have a bad feeling about leaving Lulay in this game any longer. It's over, why leave Lulay exposed any longer especially with the heat Hamilton is putting on him?

I agree. And he's not finding anyone open on his first read. Time for a fresh set of eyes.

7 points - 2 missed tackles on a short pass in the flat, resulting in a 49-yard TD by Banks.
7 points - fumble by Harris, the first fumble lost by the Lions this year, returned 26 yards for a TD by Norwood.
7 points - 1 blown coverage on the side side of the field resulting in a 64-yard TD by Underwood.
3 points - fumble by Harris sets up a 42-yard field goal by Medlck.
7 points - no contain on the wide side of the field, allowing for a 96-yard punt return by Banks.

That's five B.C.plays resulting in 31 Hamilton points. Ironically, the B.C. defence and coverage teams did well otherwise. The two big plays on offence accounted for exactly half of Hamilton's 226 yards passing in the half. Take those away and Collaros has 113 yards passing, less than Lulay's 130, and the Ticats have 38 yards rushing, less than the Lions' 40. And aside from the TD return, the Lions held Banks to 10 yards on three other punt returns. The Lions are paying a big price for five mistakes.
Compounding the problem, the offence never showed up even aside from the fumbles. In Q1 we ran 8 plays on five series for just 28yds, zero first downs and two lost fumbles. TOP was just 5:16 and we were already down 21-0 when Q2 started.

I had the same question locked and loaded ready to post in the first half. I was almost ready to hit send just as he connected on the long ball to Manny that set up the major two plays later so I laid off.

Two more points from Ham conceding a safety. 37-12 Ham.

International punter and he can't angle it out of bounds from there? The ST coaching is poor here.

Hamilton still playing aggressive defence instead of going to a prevent. Mark Wasington, are you paying attention ?

Tasker with Ham's latest major. Medlock's convert makes it 44-12 Ham.

What happened to this team?

It was like a Cadillac once that got fell into disrepair, and the owner just kept selling off the parts?
