Lions news release:
Lions to make significant player personnel announcement Monday
(Vancouver) BC Lions GM and head coach Wally Buono will make a significant player personnel announcement on Monday, November 26th at 10:00 am in the Media Conference Room located at the club’s Surrey Practice Facility.
Or he is being released.... :juggle:

The real B.C. Lions have been found locked in a Surrey warehouse and have been released unharmed . The Aliens who played for them last week have been arrested and shipped back to Hamilton. :beer:

"player personnel announcement" means that its an existing BC lions Player right?...so yeah im guessing its DD retiring...

I would be surprised if DD made the decision that quick. It does accord with the rumour about the Lions cutting him quickly for cap reasons however.

They will be one of the following three

1. Dickenson is cut
2. Dickenson announces his retirement
3. Dickenson is coming back to the Leos (it was implied today on a post that quesdad had insider info towards this end)

It could also be a combination of the first two! Wally was going to cut Dickenson so Dickenson decides to announce his retirement.

However, at the end of the season Dickenson said he still wanted to play next season. He wouldn't need to rush to announce his retirement. In an earlier thread I wrote I said I believed a decsision regarding Dickenson woulld happen one way or the other quickly, after the Grey Cup game.

Of course, it may have nothing to do with Dickenson and it's an announcement that Kato has signed a new 15 year contract extension with a signing bonus!!

Other possible announcments:
DD to QB Coach & 3rd string QB (ala Danny Barrett a few years ago)
JJ re-signing in BC

Real stretch of a rumour: Wally Buono quitting/fired/headed to Montreal
Now that I don't live in Quesnel do I need to change my handle??

"Player personnel" suggests it is player related, but that is also Obie's title I believe, so it would make sense. However, that seems like it is Hamilton's announcement to make.
